Behind her, the pyramids appear again — she is the fully realized version of what the Page was aspiring toward. The sunflower she carries is her own emblem: she turns toward the light because she is herself a source of it. The black cat at her feet is the familiar of the witch — the creature associated with magic, independence, and seeing in the dark.
